McLaren: ‘Little by little, we're getting there'
McLaren's Eric Boullier says that the double finish for his drivers in Malaysia shows how much progress the team are making. McLaren finished Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix in 13th and 14th place, although Jenson Button was demoted to 15th after a time penalty was imposed upon him for colliding with Pastor Maldonado. As bad as 13th & 15th is, this does show a marked improvement on the previous race in Malaysia, where both drivers retired with engine related issues on Laps 21 & 42. “To get both cars to the finish of the race is one more item off our list, and we’ll now continue to push forward race by race to achieve the targets that we’ve set for ourselves.
