Vandoorne: ‘Difficult' to showcase talent at McLaren
Stoffel Vandoorne has admitted he is finding it 'difficult' to make a good impression in Formula 1 due to McLaren's ongoing and wide-ranging problems. The Belgian finished P13 at the opening round in Australia, but was lapped twice by the front-runners and was last of those who finished the race. And now Vandoorne has called for a 'big push' from everyone to ensure that the McLaren MCL32 can become competitive. “It’s difficult for sure when the package is not performing as it should be,' Vandoorne said. “We need a big push from the team to push us further up the grid, but we were aware of that after Barcelona already. “From my position the only thing I can do is...
