Kvyat: Chances were 'over' after first lap

– Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat says his prospects of securing a good result at the Bahrain Grand Prix were "over" after he went wide on the opening lap of the race.Kvyat started from 11th place but went off-track at Turn 13 and dropped to 18th position, ahead only of Sauber's Marcus Ericsson.The Russian made steady progress but classified in 12th position, via a couple of minor brushes with Renault rival Jolyon Palmer, and was left to reflect on his first lap moment."After my first lap I think my race was over, unfortunately," said Kvyat."I had very little grip on lap 1 and went off the track because of a misunderstanding with another car – I locked my wheels,...
