Russian GP: Bottas fends off Vettel to take maiden F1 win

Valtteri Bottas claimed his maiden Formula 1 victory by holding off a charging Sebastian Vettel after a tense duel in the closing stages of the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi. From pole position, Vettel led the fast-starting Bottas through the first turn, but Bottas cruised past him before Turn 2. Kimi Raikkonen made a poor initially getaway, but he kept third after briefly running three-wide with Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo thanks to being brave on the brakes at Turn 2.
