Alonso: Victory should have been possible

– Fernando Alonso reckons he could have won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a more competitive car, as a dramatic afternoon unfolded at the Baku City Circuit.Alonso, who started at the back of the grid with a 40-place, engine-related penalty, took advantage of troubles ahead to move into fifth position by the halfway mark.However, following the trio of Safety Car periods, Alonso was unable to keep quicker rivals behind him, and gradually dropped down to ninth by the chequered flag.Given the array of incidents over the 51-lap race, Alonso felt victory should have been on the cards."Starting 19th because of our penalties, on one of our least competitive circuits, yet still scoring...
