Robert Kubica to complete second Renault F1 test at Paul Ricard

Renault has announced that Robert Kubica will return to the wheel of a Formula 1 car at Paul Ricard for his second test. The 2008 Canadian Grand Prix race winner completed his first F1 test in over six years last month at the Valencia circuit, driving a Renault-liveried Lotus E20 from 2020. Kubica managed 115 laps during the course of the test session, and then completed demo runs for Renault at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Sunday. He has since been quoted saying his chances of competing in F1 are “80 to 90 per cent”, and Renault says this second test is to “extensively evaluate his driving capabilities”.
