Sainz remains hush on possible Renault move

Carlos Sainz was not giving anything away ahead of a weekend of anticipated announcements, one of which is expected to be his move to Renault. According to reports in the paddock, the Spaniard will be leaving Toro Rosso at the end of this season – or this weekend – and heading to Renault. Sainz's move is part of Renault's deal to agree to end their engine partnership with Toro Rosso, thus paving the way for McLaren to sign with the French manufacturer. Toro Rosso will instead run Honda engines next season. However, don't ask Sainz about any of that as the Red Bull-backed driver is keeping his cards close to his chest.
