Hamilton laments 'very difficult' first day
ewis Hamilton described his first day of practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix as "very difficult" as Mercedes struggled to find a suitable car balance.Hamilton and team-mate Valtteri Bottas were only sixth and seventh in both of Friday's sessions, the first taking place in wet conditions and the second on a dry track.In FP2, both Hamilton (Turn 7) and Bottas (Turn 10) suffered off-track excursions, the pair finishing over one-and-a-half seconds behind pace-setter Sebastian Vettel.Mercedes boss Toto Wolff suggested after the session that there is a "gremlin" inside the W08, and Hamilton admits there will be plenty to assess overnight."It's been a very difficult...
