Celis to join Perez for Friday FP1 in Mexico

Sahara Force India test driver Alfonso Celis will get another opportunity to take part in Formula 1 free practice this weekend. He will take over the car normally driven by Estaban Ocon in Friday morning's session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. It means that he and Sergio Perez will make up a patriotic all-Mexican line-up to delight home fans. Celis will then stand down and allow Ocon to resume his normal driving duties for the rest of the Mexican Grand Prix weekend. It will be the third practice outing this season for the 21-year-old.
