Alonso sceptical of Q3 chances in Brazil after difficult Friday

Fernando Alonso was left sceptical of his chances of reaching Q3 in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix after a tough Friday of Formula 1 practice running at Interlagos that was hindered by an issue on his Honda power unit. Alonso finished P10 in both FP1 and FP2 for McLaren, slotting into the close midfield fight that saw Force India, Williams and Renault also making the top half of the order across the course of the day. Despite McLaren and Honda's recent development progress, Alonso was left unsure of his chances of making it through to Q3 in Brazil if the rain holds off at Interlagos.
