Gil De Ferran On Alonso’s Indianapolis 500 Assault

Fernando Alonso's participation at last year's Indianapolis 500 was arguably the biggest story in world motorsport last year. And though he was not to be victorious this time, the 2-time Formula One World Champion laid his claim to be a champion as he led 27 laps before engine failure saw him bow out from the race with just a few laps remaining. Mobil 1 The Grid spoke to man behind the headlines, 2003 Indy Champion and mentor to Alonso, Gil De Ferran, whose wisdom and experience may yet prove the vital ingredient in the Spanish driver's quest to win racing's coveted Triple Crown.
