Italian Grand Prix In Money Laundering Probe
Italian Grand Prix There may be a bit of trouble ahead for Formula 1 and the Italian Grand Prix after reports out of Italy alleging that prosecutors have uncovered a sophisticated money laundering scheme linked to the sport. According to La Repubblica, an investigation by authorities back in 2012 has concluded that false invoices and tax evasion around driver sponsorship had been set up by a network of Italian GP insiders. The report stated that 82 people are currently under investigation and could be indicted. Are Ferrari Cheating?
