Kubica to drive in FP1 at Spanish Grand Prix

Formula One race-winner Robert Kubica will participate in a Grand Prix weekend for the first time since 2010 with Williams confirming that he will take part in free practice one for the Spanish Grand Prix. The 33-year-old will take another step in his quest to return to a Formula One race seat by completing free practice one at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in place of Sergey Sirotkin. This will be the first of three planned FP1 outings for Kubica, who narrowly missed out on securing a race seat with the team for this season.
