Magnussen hit by reprimand for Leclerc FP1 incident

Kevin Magnussen has picked up his first reprimand of the year for “a potentially dangerous and unnecessary” incident with Charles Leclerc during the first free practice at the Spanish Grand Prix. Magnussen, who has been in the spotlight for his driving in recent races, was judged to have moved in front of the Alfa Romeo Sauber driver at Turn 1 by the FIA Stewards and has picked up his first reprimand of the season. The Haas driver avoided any further penalties for an earlier incident with the Monegasque driver having aborted a lap after receiving a yellow flag caution at Turn 10, while the yellows were withdrawn by the time Leclerc reached the same part of track which meant he...
