Verstappen: Nice to have a good clean race

Max Verstappen finally stepped onto a Formula 1 podium for the first time this season, the Dutchman delivering a gritty performance which typically was not without incident but at the end of the day in Barcelona the result will no doubt be a boost for the often underfire Dutchman. The Red Bull driver damaged his front wing when he collided with the Williams of Lance Stroll, but he soldiered on with his pace hardly affected and then fended off a late race charge from the Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari to claim third place.
