Hamilton admits: I would have fallen asleep

Lewis Hamilton has claimed that if he had been watching the Monaco Grand Prix on TV, he would have fallen asleep, as tyre issues for those at the front of the grid meant that cars slowed down to ensure they could reach the end of the race. In an attritional race at the notoriously difficult-to-pass circuit on the French Riviera, Daniel Ricciardo, who had power issues that limited his performance, led from start to finish to round off a memorable weekend for the Australian.  The chasing pack struggled to keep their tyres in good enough shape to take Ricciardo on, and in the end it was a limp to the finish, one that Ricciardo had mastered from early on.
