Leclerc: "Frustrating when you're much faster"

Charles Leclerc's first ever home Grand Prix ended in tears as he crashed out of the Monaco Grand Prix, but the rookie was frustrated with how the rest of his race was going as well. It was the first time since 1994 that a Monegasque driver competed in the Monaco Grand Prix, but it didn't go as planned for Charles Leclerc. He was having a decent race but then his brakes failed, and his weekend ended in the gearbox of Brendon Hartley. "I'm not happy at all with this weekend," Leclerc told Ziggo Sport.
