Newey convinced a grid drop awaits Ricciardo in Montreal

Red Bull tech boss Adrian Newey says Daniel Ricciardo will be hit with a grid penalty in Montreal next weekend following the Aussie's MGU-K failure in Monaco. It was initially expected that Ricciardo's MGU-K could be salvaged by Renault for the Canadian Grand Prix, but according to Newey that won't be the case. "He will definitely be taking some penalties in Montreal, we haven’t heard at the moment just how many," Newey told Reuters.
