F1 confirms Marseille as next festival host city

Formula 1 has announced Marseille will host the third ‘F1 Festival’ during the build-up to the return of the French Grand Prix later this month, while Miami will also host the event in October as a precursor to the United States Grand Prix. With the French GP returning to the F1 race calendar for the first time in a decade this year, Marseille will follow the likes of London and Shangahi in hosting a festival of the sport. The F1 Marseille Festival will take place on Friday 22nd June, the same day as the opening two free practice sessions take place at Paul Ricard ahead of the French GP, with Franck Montagny driving a demonstration in a 2012-specificaiton Renault E20 F1 car and will be...
