Hamilton: "Now we understand why our hypersofts didn't last long"

Mercedes have struggled with the new hypersoft compound so far in 2018, but Lewis Hamilton has said that his team have now figured out why the pink compound degraded so fast for them. Mercedes have taken the least amount of hyper softs to Canada out of every team, simply because they can't get the best out of them. However, that shouldn't be the case anymore, says Hamilton. "We now understand where and why our tyres didn't last long and we've made a few fundamental changes to the car," Hamilton told Autosport. "Those have a clear influence.
