Alonso gives hints about future beyond F1

Fernando Alonso has remained cryptic about his future in motorsport and F1 beyond the current 2018 season. The Spaniard has been open about his desire to win the triple crown, and he would need an Indy 500 win and Le Mans victory to complete the feat. Alonso was forced to retire from his 300th grand prix, a hugely disappointing end to his race after starting positively but afterwards, Alonso had shifted his focus to 24 hours of Le Mans. “From tomorrow it’s another experience there. Hopefully, a good race for us, we are also leading the World Endurance Championship after the race in Spa. “We are definitely focused on that right now after the retirement of today.”...
