Magnussen not focusing on top team despite fresh Ferrari rumours

Kevin Magnussen has downplayed recent speculation linking him to Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari seat in 2019. The Dane has put in a string of impressive points-scoring performances for Haas in 2018 and he only added to his points total in Austria. He told BT newspaper that he saw his future at Haas as the team had made a great step forward this season in the midfield battle. “We are close (to a new deal), and I am fond of Haas. “Unless I have an offer from a top team, I cannot see a better place to be. “And I do not have an offer from a top team.” When asked about the rumours of Ferrari, Magnussen responded: “That’s not something I’m focusing on....
