Lewis Hamilton storms to pole position for British GP

Lewis Hamilton stormed to pole position for the sixth time at the British Grand Prix in a barnstorming last lap effort to snatch it away from title-rival Sebastian Vettel who will line-up alongside him. As the minutes ticked down towards the end of Q3 it looked as if Vettel may have had the upper hand, Hamilton made his move in the final run even with a powerslide in the final corner to snatch a 76th career pole. Vettel had to have his necked taped up after experiencing some pain in the third practice session but said he had no issues during qualifying, speaking to Martin Brundle after the session.
