'F1 abandons 2019 Miami GP, aiming for 2020'

The proposed Grand Prix to be held in the city of Miami has been abandoned for the 2019 season in a statement released by Formula 1 management in the wake of complex negotiations which have help up proceedings. Liberty Media are been continually working closely with city officials to try and push the deal over the line but discussions surrounding the event have been continuously put back which has made it difficult to pen a deal in time for the 2019 slot to be confirmed.
