Alonso: 17th is the place we belong to be
Fernando Alonso appeared chirpier and less upset than expected after only managing to qualify 17th for the Belgian Grand Prix as his McLaren was found wanting around the challenging Spa-Francorchamps circuit, explaining that is where he expected to be. After being eliminated in Q1, Alonso was asked by reporters if he was frustrated by the result, to which he replied, 'It's not frustrating, this is the place we belong to be. This is what we expect here.' 'The lap was enjoyable.
