F1 teams approve rear wing rain lights for 2019

Lewis Hamilton tested the rear wing lights in Spain Formula 1 teams have unanimously approved plans that will see cars feature rain lights on the trailing edge of rear wing end plates next season. According to Autosport, the lights would be in addition to the existing light on the rear of the car in an effort to increase visibility in adverse conditions. Mercedes tested the endplate-mounted lights during testing following the Spanish Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton as the sport's governing body investigated the proposed.
