The Formula E driving challenge turned engineering task

Formula E is about to enter a new era with its Gen2 car, but with it will come the loss of a driving challenge totally unique to the series. One of the biggest misconceptions about the all-electric single seater series is that the cars are easy to drive because of its speed, or lack thereof. Although the first generation car was on similar pace to Formula 3 around Donington Park, its lack of pace compared to Formula 1 for example has made it appear to be easy.
