Arrivabene: I apologised to Bottas
In the heat of defeat on Ferrari's home Italian Grand Prix, team chief Maurizio Arrivabene took a swipe at Valtteri Bottas with his 'we have drivers, not butlers' roast after the Mercedes driver's role in Lewis Hamilton's victory. As the Formula 1 world sets up tent in Singapore, it has emerged in Italian media that Arrivabene sought out and apologised to Bottas immediately after the race, 'As soon as I said it in the heat of the moment, I knew it would create controversy.'
