Steiner admits Grosjean is "on thin ice"
Romain Grosjean is very close to receiving a one race ban after he failed to acknowledge blue flags whilst battling with the Williams of Sergey Sirotkin at the Singapore Grand Prix. Grosjean has accumulated nine points on his super licence and 12 will enforce a one race ban on him. The Frenchman has a history of crashes and is the last driver to have a race ban inflicted on him, after causing the pile-up at the 2012 Belgian Grand Prix that eliminated four cars. He had a reputation of crashing on the first lap but since that ban he has reigned in his aggression at turn one but has managed to pick up more penalty points than anyone else this season.
