Ericsson considering ‘realistic' IndyCar move

Marcus Ericsson could combine IndyCar racing with his Formula 1 reserve driver duties, revealing he's talking with several teams about 2019. Earlier this year Sauber announced that Ericsson would be replaced at the end of this season with the team instead signing Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi. The Swede wasn't left completely out in the cold with Sauber retaining him as their reserve driver. Ericsson, however, stated soon after that he wants to continue racing and will be looking elsewhere for opportunities.
