FIA approve new 2019 calendar
The FIA have accepted the new 2019 F1 calendar and the host of new rules that will be applied next season, with it being formally announced after the FIA's World Motor Sport Council on Friday. The meeting took place in Paris on Friday and the 21-round schedule for next season was unchanged from the provisional schedule that was released back in August by owners, Liberty Media. The season begins on March 17, in Australia and the climax will be on December 1, in Abu Dhabi.
