Hartley unimpressed by Gasly team order speech
Brendon Hartley reckons it is 'nice' how Pierre Gasly feels cars don't need to be swapped around when they're outside the points, just as long as he's the one in front. Last time out in Brazil, the two Toro Rosso drivers were on different strategies which put Gasly ahead of Hartley. The New Zealander, though, was on fresher tyres and asked to be let through. Gasly refused, saying if cars are outside the points 'you should race.' Hartley isn't overly impressed with his team-mate's comments. 'It was a nice speech Pierre did about team orders to the media,' he told Autosport. 'But he didn't give the same one when I let him past many times, also for position, or sometimes compromised my race...
