Binotto: Engine modes created 0.6s gap
Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto says Ferrari's domination over Mercedes in free practice for the Bahrain GP was due to differing engine modes. Charles Leclerc topped FP1 with Vettel in P2, with the gap back to Mercedes standing at seven tenths of a second. It would be a similar story in FP2, as the Ferraris swapped places to secure another 1-2, with the Silver Arrows 0.6s adrift.
