Formula E aiming to expand calendar with race in Shanghai

Formula E are set to expand its racing calendar with an extra race, a race that will take place in Shanghai and it could be announced as early as May. The Chinese city, one that already hosts the Chinese Grand Prix in Formula 1, has already spoken to the organisers of the series, having meetings in the past few weeks, with a positive outcome, according to Formula Passion. The announcement is set to be made in May, for the start of next season, or the season after at the latest. This will be the fourth city in China to host an ePrix after the no longer present Beijing, Hong Kong and Sanya.
