Haas know ‘exactly where the window is' for VF-19
Romain Grosjean says Haas have now figured out 'exactly where the window is' for their VF-19. The Frenchman believes Haas lead the best-of-the-rest midfield battle, and while he has claimed that spot in qualifying on four occasions in 2019, the races have been Haas' Achilles' Heel after tyre-related woes in Bahrain, China and Azerbaijan, while poor strategy caused Kevin Magnussen to finish outside the points in Monaco after starting P5. “Now we’ve got a clear idea of what we need to do in terms of tyres,” Grosjean told Motorsport Week. “We’ve been working really hard, so we know exactly where the window is.
