Haas focused on “very troubling” 2019 F1 tyre inconsistencies

Guenther Steiner says Haas remains focused on solving the “very troubling” inconsistencies it has suffered with Formula 1’s 2019 tyres so far this season. Tyre troubles have been a recurring theme of the American’s squad season and the issues resurfaced during the Canadian Grand Prix as the team failed to score points for the fourth time this year as it slipped to eighth in the constructors’ championship. “We’re obviously behind in points which we should have scored, but for one or another reason we didn’t get them,” Steiner said ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix. “We weren’t there at the right time to pick them up.
