Lando Norris wins Driver of the Day after late DNF!
McLaren's Lando Norris has been awarded the Driver of the Day despite failing to finish the race after an engine issue on the final lap prevented him from bringing home a comfortable P5 finish. The 19-year old had raced an extremely quiet race, being way behind the front four, but also a long way ahead of the chasing pack. Norris looked good for a best finish in Formula 1, beating sixth placed finishes in Bahrain and Austria, and ten points that would have drastically improved his position in the drivers' standings.
