Nicholas Latifi amongst the candidates for Williams seat in 2020
While George Russell is almost certainly racing for Williams during the 2020 Formula 1 season, Robert Kubica's seat is still up for grabs. Claire Williams has confirmed Nicholas Latifi is a candidate for the seat, as well as Kubica himself. Latifi is the current reserve driver for Williams and has completed two free practice sessions. The Canadian has won four Formula 2 races during the current season and sits second in the championship. Williams said the team are in no rush to decide their driver line-up for next season. “We are looking at the 2020 seat and there is a handful of candidates.
