Leading F1 teams differ on Singapore tyre choices

Formula 1’s leading teams have all adopted slightly different approaches regarding tyre compound choices for next weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix. Pirelli has nominated its three softest compounds – the C3s, C4s and C5s – in order to deal with the 23-turn Marina Bay Street Circuit, where tyre wear is often high across the 61-lap event. As per usual Pirelli mandates a set of each compound for every driver, after which they are allowed free choice for their remaining 10 batches.
