What Friday means for the rest of the weekend

The Japanese Grand Prix has been restructured after Typhoon Hagibis has hit Japan. The two sessions on Friday went ahead but Saturday's FP3 has been canceled and Qualifying has been moved to Sunday morning.  Mercedes were the fastest in FP1 and FP2 with Valtteri Bottas looking like the faster of the two Silver Arrows. Ferrari were not far off the pace and many believe that their engines were not turned up fully which means that they could be the team to beat on Sunday.  If Qualifying doesn't go ahead on Sunday morning then the times from FP2 will determine the starting grid. This meant that at the end of FP2 all driver pushed a little harder to try and clock a faster time. ...
