Renault decide not to appeal Japan GP exclusion

Renault have decided not to appeal against their Japanese Grand Prix exclusion, claiming that they have ‘no new evidence' to show. The Renault team were dealt a blow to their hopes of retaining fourth place in the constructors' championship after it announced that they had been excluded from the Japanese Grand Prix results. Immediately after the Japanese Grand Prix, Racing Point lodged a protest against the R.S.19 cars, believing that they had used an illegal system which automatically adjusted the brake bias without input from the driver.
