Red Bull: Gasly remains an option for 2020

Toro Rosso returnee Pierre Gasly remains a candidate to step up to Red Bull again, in the future, despite a disastrous first season for the Frenchman with the senior team in which he was comprehensively crushed by teammate Max Verstappen. That is the claim of team boss Christian Horner, even though Gasly was demoted mid-season and replaced by rookie Alex Albon. The Thai rookie has been confirmed for next season but when asked by Auto Bild if Gasly was still in the frame, Horner replied, 'Of course.
