F1 marks 70th anniversary with special 2020 logo designs
The Formula 1 World Championship rings in its 70th year of existence in 2020, a milestone marked by the unveiling of a few dedicated logos. It all kicked off on May 13, 1950 at Silverstone where the first F1 world championship event was held, and won by Alfa Romeo's Giuseppe Farina. Is Panama City next in line as an F1 venue? Seventy years and 33 world champions later, Formula 1 is a global sports event powerhouse whose championship shall this year include a record 22 races from March to December, from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi.
