Fernando Alonso 'shouldn't have been blamed' for Spygate

Pedro de la Rosa has said that Fernando Alonso was unfairly blamed for the Spygate scandal. The two time world champion was blamed for revealing information to the FIA which led to McLaren being fined $100 million in 2007.  “That situation was like a divorce inside the team,” De la Rosa told the official F1 website. “The relationship was not good before, but that was like the complete divorce.
