Formula 1 considers longer plant shutdowns to save costs

At the moment the Formula 1 teams are all closed. The factories had to be closed for three weeks between March and April and the teams responded to this. However, this lockdown could take longer. Albert Fabrega, a well-known Spanish F1 journalist, reports on Twitter that Formula 1 is considering extending the three-week period, while continuing to put the brakes on the budgets and developments of the cars for 2021. Yesterday Auto, Motor und Sport already announced that Red Bull Racing and Ferrari are fiercely opposed to this.
