Monza confirms 2020 race - extends Italian GP deal to 2025

Monza has confirmed that it will host the Italian Grand Prix behind closed doors in September while Formula 1 will race on at the Temple of Speed until 2025. Monza and the Automobile Club d'Italia had secured a five-year deal covering the 2020-24 seasons just before last year's race, suggesting the one-year extension is perhaps the result of F1's negotiations with the venue to stage an event behind closed doors on September 6.
