Silverstone up for fan cardboard cut-outs

Silverstone boss Stuart Pringle says the circuit are considering using cardboard cut-outs of fans during their two races this season. With both F1 races at the venue set to take place with no fans in attendance, there is the risk that the race weekends may feel a little flat compared to the usual party atmosphere at Silverstone. But sports around the world are of course having to adjust to the ‘new normal', and right now that means playing with no fans there to watch. An idea which the Bundesliga tried, that being to have cardboard cut-outs of fans in their seats, drummed up plenty of attention.
