'Twelve races at Silverstone were possible'
The next two weeks we can get ready for two consecutive F1 races on the same circuit. It's one of the things that makes this season special. In order to keep that second race interesting, we will be driving with a different tyre compound. Even if that second race will be more of the same, it's still better than all the races on the same track. According to Stuart Pringle, Silverstone's circuit director, something was just as sadly considered. "We said, we give support where we can".
