Results FP1: Verstappen records fastest time, Hamilton second
Max Verstappen clocked the fastest time in the first free practice. The Dutchman of Red Bull crossed his RB16 in 1:27.482. Verstappen was more than four tenths ahead of World Championship leader Lewis Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel did not set a time due to car problems.
