Wolff on 'copygate': 'I will no longer act as an intermediary'.
Racing Point had a hard time when it became clear what trick they had pulled to start the F1 season 2020 strongly. Because they rebuilt last year's Mercedes car, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff also often comes into disrepute this year. Wolff is no longer in the mood for that. Racing Point and Mercedes receive the same criticism Mercedes is also held responsible by some parties for Racing Point's illegal practices. The 2019 Mercedes was almost entirely rebuilt by Racing Point and it is expected that Mercedes must have helped them to do so.
